| Education, training, experience: |
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in any state, multi-state.
- Experience in management and geriatric nursing.
- Leadership ability.
- A minimum of five (5) years of general nursing experience required with at least two (2) years in long term care and two (2) years of successful experience in either administrative, consultation, L.T.C. and involvement in the survey process. Success is defined as a clear, demonstrated history of quality resident care/case management.
- Past experience as a Director of Nursing.
- Ability and willingness to travel and train on-site in sister facilities. Cookeville/Parsons TN
- Ability and willingness to assume various job functions in a facility; i.e., DNS, Risk Mgt, Falls Coordinator.
- No less than two (2) years of previous L.T.C. experience.
- Must be able to relate professionally and positively to corporate staff and visitors, project a professional image for the company, and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels.
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
- Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have 24-hour access to a motor vehicle for travel and maintain personal auto-liability insurance coverage.
